This was after a petition filed by Mr Abeysekara was considered.
Accordingly the Court ordered to provide additional security than the existing security arrangements and directed that the security arrangements be put in place within a months period.
Additional Solicitor General, President’s Counsel (PC) Rohantha Abeysuriya, who appeared on behalf of AG said that the relevant agencies will be informed to provide the additional security.
The order was given by Court of Appeal President Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne and Justice Vikum Kaluaarachchi.
