Former LTTE translator Velupillai Kumar Pancharatnam better known as George Master passed away in Jaffna and his cremation was held on Sunday (5).
He was 85 years.
He passed away at an elders’ home in Kaithady, where he was living for the past few years.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
