Former MP J. Sri Ranga, who was arrested earlier for allegedly influencing the witnesses of a fatal traffic accident in Vavuniya in 2011, was further remanded in custody today by Mannar High Court Judge M.M. Mohammed Mihal.
The former MP was remanded till May 12.
The Vavuniya High Court had issued notice for his arrest earlier for allegedly influencing witnesses in a case pending before the court, in relation to a traffic accident in 2011 where a Police Sergeant was killed.
