Former President Wickremesinghe is unable to attend the court case against him today due to the medical condition,
Deputy Director of the National Hospital, Dr Rukshan Bellana told Timesonline.
He said that former president Wickremesinghe would continue his intensive care unit treatment.
He explained that a five member committee of specialist doctors who are handling the treatment of former president yesterday decided that intensive care unit treatments should be continued.
According to Dr Bellana a report on the former president’s condition along with other medical report had been sent to the court yesterday .
Therefore the either the magistrate would visit the former president at the hospital or observe the condition of Mr Wickremesinghe via zoom meeting before decision is given.
