Mr, Kithsiri Kahatapitiya, former Opposition Leader of the Western Provincial Council passed away while undergoing treatment for COVID19.
He was elected to the Western Provincial Council from the United National Party, but at the last Parliamentary elections he contested under the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
