Four persons have been arrested along with firearms/ equipment used for hunting in Rajavigama, Karuwalagaswewa wildlife office said.
Among the seized equipment were a Bora-12 firearm without a licence, live ammunition, hunting headlamps, a vehicle and mobile phones. Wildlife officials said the suspects, residents of Nawagaththegama, have been involved in hunting in nearby reserves.
