Four dead bodies were found inside a house in Goodshed Road of the Vavuniya town, Police said today (March 7).
The four deceased are of the same family, consisting of the two parents and two children.
Three of the dead bodies of the mother and two children, were found inside the house and the father was seen hanging.
The father was attached to the Northern Province Cricket Board and the mother was a teacher. The children were aged nine and three.
The Vavuniya Police are conducting further investigations.
