Ministers Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon, Ranjith Siyambalapaitiya, Anupa Pazqual and Kanaka Herath have been appointed to oversee the ministries coming under President Ranil Wickremesinghe's purview.
The President left for Cuba this morning, and will attend both the G77+China Leaders' Summit in Havana, Cuba and the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During his absence for over a week, State Minister Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon will serve as the acting Minister of Defence.
The President has appointed State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya as the Acting Minister of Finance, Kanaka Herah as the Acting Minister of Technology and Investment Promotion and State Minister Anupa Pazqual as the Acting Minister of Women, Children and Social Service.
