Former Minister A.H.M Fowzie returned to the Parliament today to fill the post vacated by SJB member Mujibar Rahman who resigned from his post to contest in upcoming local elections.
He took oaths today before Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
.He entered the parliament in 1994 and held many ministerial position till 2015. He had served as Minister of highways, environment and natural resources, Petroleum resource development as well as Disaster management
He had also served as the Mayor of Colombo 1974 to 1977.
