With effective from midnight (October 31), Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has announced revision to its fuel prices.
Accordingly, the updated costs from CEYPETCO are as follows:
* Petrol 92 Octane - Rs. 356 (Reduced by Rs. 9)
* Octane 95 Gasoline - Rs. 423 (Increased by Rs. 3)
* Auto Diesel - Rs. 356 (Increased by Rs. 5)
* Super Diesel - Rs. 431 (Increased by Rs. 10)
* Kerosene - Rs. 249 (Increased by Rs. 7)
Meanwhile, the subsidiary of the Beijing-based oil and gas company in Sri Lanka, the SINOPEC Energy Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, has likewise revised the prices of its petroleum products to reflect the new rates that CEYPETCO had announced.
The revised rates from SINOPEC are as follows:
* Petrol 92 Octane - Rs. 256 (Reduced by Rs. 2)
* Petrol 95 Octane - Rs. 423 (Increased by Rs. 3 rise)
* Auto Diesel - Rs. 356 (Increased by Rs. 8)
* Super Diesel - Rs. 431 (Increased by Rs. 14)
In addition, the Indian Oil Corporation’s local affiliate, Lanka IOC, declared that it will adjust its rates to comply with CEYPETCO’s price review.
