President Ranil Wickremesinghe told Parliament today that further relief would be provided to the public.
He said that among the relief would be removing VAT on school exercise books, school supplies, medical supplies, and medicines.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
