As a pilot of their 'End Hunger'project,'Goodwill Ambassadors Sri Lanka' with the help of the Kirulapana Police distributed 100 parcels of food items today (15) to 100 desrving families affected due to Covid restrictions. Theses families were selected by the area police.
Minister of Youth & Sports Namal Rajapaksa and Senior DIG Deshabandu Thennakoon joined in the distribution of food items to people.

Former Chairman of SriLankan Airlines, Nishantha Wickramasinghe, arrested on allegation of corruption by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has been remanded until July 1 by the Colombo Magistrate court.
