The Cabinet at a July 9th meeting has decided to terminate the current bidding process for the divestiture of national carrier Sri Lankan Airlines, a State Owned Enterprises Restructuring Unit statement said.
“Instead, the government will now follow an alternate strategy to be decided shown shortly into diverse the airline based on a framework approved by the cabinet,” the statement issued on July 18th added.
