The first part of the third term for 2023 will end on Friday, December 22, marking the start of the school holidays for all government and government-approved schools, the Ministry of Education announced.
Accordingly, the second phase of the third term is set to start on February 1, 2024.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
