The Hakgala Botanical Garden has reopened to the public after being closed due to the effects of cyclone Ditwah.
The green light for reopening the park was given by the National Building Research Organization and the Disaster Management Centre,the Ministry of Environment said.
Sections of the garden where dangerous spots had been identified are restricted for the time being with warning signs.
