The Employees Trust Fund (ETF) is to be amended to provide a health insurance cover to private sector workers, similar to that of the Agrahara insurance scheme for the public sector.
The Cabinet yesterday approved the decision to amend the ETF Act accordingly, Cabinet spokesman Bandula Gunawardena said.
