A cross section of Government well as opposition members today attended a special briefing arranged by the Public Security Ministry on the update of the investigations on the Easter Sunday attack.
The session was held ahead of the two day debate on the Easter Sunday attack and the Channel 4 documentary about the incident due to commence on Thursday.
Inspector General of Police C.D. Wickremaratne, Public Security Ministry Secretary Viyani Gunatillake and officials from the Criminal Investigations Department and the Terrorism Investigations Department attended the briefing.
The officials responded to questions raised by the MPs.
Public Security Minister Tiran Alles thanked the MPs who were present for the event.
