A visiting IMF team will call on President Ranil Wickremesinghe today evening.
The team arrived this morning, State a minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe said.
Prior to the meeting with the President they will meet with the Finance Ministry and Central Bank officials.
They are due to remain in SL until January 19.
The aim of the visit is to discuss recent economic developments and follow-up on upcoming program targets and commitments.
