IN PIX: President Ranil Wickremesinghe and delegates at COP 28 in Dubai
President Ranil Wickremesinghe put forward three special proposals this year for the International Conference on Climate Change “COP 28”.
The three proposals are to create a Climate University in Sri Lanka, to establish a Climate Justice Forum for third world countries that are inconvenienced by the activities of developed countries, and to set up a forum for tropical rainforests.
In pictures are the President Wickremesinghe accompanied by a delegation of 15 officials launching the International Climate Change University in Sri Lanka to bridge the gap in global climate action.
