Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, the Princess Royal of the United Kingdom, accompanied by her Spouse, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe today (11), the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
The delegation on a three-day official visit to Sri Lanka, was welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ali Sabry at the President’s House in Colombo.
The visiting royals engaged in cordial discussions with President Ranil Wickremesinghe and first lady Prof. Maithree Wickremesinghe.
At the President’s House, Princess Anne signed the special guest commemorative book to honor the occasion.
Among those in attendance at the event were Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, State Minister of Health Dr. Seetha Arambepola, Secretary to the President Saman Ekanayake and Chief of Defence Staff General Shavendra Silva.
