Immigration Dept. to launch online passport appointment system

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has announced plans to introduce an online appointment system for passport applications, set to launch soon.

The department also confirmed that 50,000 blank passports are currently in stock, with an additional supply of 100,000 passports expected in November and another 150,000 anticipated in December.
