An event to mark the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahathma Gandhi was held yesterday (2) at the Parama Dhamma Chethiya Pirivena in Ratmalana. Indian Deputy High Commissioner Vinod K. Jacob was the chief guest at the event.
The ceremony was organized by the Chief Incumbent of the Parama Dhamma Chethiya Pirivena Ven. Maitipe Wimalasara Thera and was also graced by religious leaders of different faiths.
