The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) held a public rally in Kalutara today (8) under the theme "Let's Rise Together - Let's Start from Kalutara." The rally was held under the patronage of former Prime Minister and party leader Mahinda Rajapaksa.
This was the SLPP's first public rally since the events of May 9 and speakers who addressed the rally insisted that it will the first of many that will be held throughout the country.
