There were a number of protests today (9) against alleged government suppression of activists involved in the struggle.
MPs from the main opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) held a protest opposite Parliament while the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) held a protest opposite the Fort Railway Station.
