A protest demonstration was held yesterday (27) in Battaramulla using 'Ana Bera' to create awareness among the public regarding alleged attempts to sell the East Container Terminal of the Colombo Port.
The protest was organized by the Ceylon Teachers' Service Union (CTSU) and commenced from opposite the Education Ministry premises at Isurupaya before making its way to Battaramulla.
