In Pix: National War Heroes Day commemoration
National War Heroes Day was marked on Sunday at a ceremony held at the war memorial in Battaramulla
This year's event marked the 15th anniversary of the end of the war. Among the dignitaries in attendance were Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena and current and former senior officers of the armed forces.
