Health workers protested today (7) before the Colombo National Hospital calling for a proper selection process.
They said that those who are boarded in order to carry out their profession are finding it difficult to serve under the prevailing pandemic situation. Therefore they demand for a proper selection process as well as a stop to political interference in transfers.
They also proposed the authorities follow a district quota system to carry out appointments and transfers.
