Hundreds of people stood in long queues today desperately waiting for kerosene at the Kotahena central Lanka fuel station.
Both police and navy personnel were deployed to manage the large crowd gathered during the curfew period and avoid tense situations. People complained that they were unable to prepare meals due to the unavailability of kerosene. (Pix by Indika Handuwela)
