Ten commemorative stamps and a first-day cover were issued in commemoration of the 'World Coconut Day' yesterday (2) with the participation of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees.
September 2 was declared as the World Coconut Day for the first time at the 25th Asia Pacific Coconut Growers Meeting held in 1998.
