Talks between Sri Lanka and India on the development of the Palali airport as a regional and international airport are back on track.
A senior officer of the Aviation Ministry said that the talks between the two countries are due to commence next week.
The Indian investment in the development of the airport, the use of the airport to attract Indian tourists and other related matters are due to be discussed.
Funding for the project is to be channelled by the Indian Government.
