A 42-year old from Ingiriya has been arrested for causing damage to the official residence of MP Vidura Wickremanayake and burning down state vehicles parked inside.
The suspect is among many involved in damaging the house located in Panadura road, Horana and destroying state and private property in it. The suspect was arrested by Horana police on Tuesday.
The suspect has been released on bail after being produced before Horana Magistrate. The case is to be taken up again on March 13 next year.
