A 23 year old female tourist from Israel has fallen from a slippery rock at Ravana Ella and sustained fatal injuries, Ella police said.
The critically injured tourist has been rushed to the nearest Wellawaya hospital then to Moneragala District Hospital and due to her serious condition she has been admitted to Badulla General Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
