A group of Jaffna University students held a commemoration yesterday (27) in remembrance of four Indian fishermen who were killed following a collision between their fishing boat and a Sri Lankan naval vessel off Delft Island.
The commemoration was organized by the Students' Union of the Jaffna University.
The four fishermen were killed following the collision that occurred on January 19. Their bodies were later recovered by the Sri Lanka Navy and handed over to the Indian Coast Guard.
