Anusha Palpita, the Chairman of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) has submitted his resignation letter earlier today.
He is also holding the post of Secretary Ministry of Mass Media.
Mr Palpita was appointed as the Chairman a year ago.
