As part of the Consular Outreach Programme of the Sri Lanka Embassy in Jordan, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Jordan Shanika Dissanayake visited the Juweidah Detention Centre last week which houses Sri Lankan inmates to provide them with dry Rations and essential Toiletries for the upcoming Winter season, Sri Lankan embassy in Jordan said.
The Donation was made by the Ambassador and Staff of the Embassy to assist the Sri Lankan detainees. This is part of the ongoing efforts of the Embassy to ensure the welfare of the Sri Lankan detainees until their return to Sri Lanka. The Embassy is also coordinating the visits to the other Detention centers in Jordan.
