The 800th batch, which missed the flight due to a flight delay, flew to Korea on Monday. Apart from the initial 52, another 52 individuals were also flown as migrant skilled workers. The 802nd batch, consisting of 48 workers for the manufacturing industry, was flown to Korea yesterday.
Minister Nanaykkara stated that he is working to find long-term solutions to the issue of continuous delays in Sri Lanka Airlines planes carrying employees who leave for Korean jobs and talks are being held with the Korean government about using Korean planes to avoid the delay.
