The Finance Ministry has finally withdrawn the letter sent on January 12 to the company Secretary of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC) issuing a directive to remove Theshara Jayasinghe from the post of Chairman of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd.
This new directive was issued in a letter sent to theSLIC Secretary by Finance Ministry Secretary S.R Attygalle on Wednesday January 19.
Earlier Mr. Jayasinghe was removed and Renuka Perera appointed to this position. However President Gotabaya Rajapaksa had directed that Mr. Jayasinghe remain in his position and wanted the Finance Ministry to withdraw his removal letter.
