Litro Gas Lanka has reduced the prices of domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders effective from midnight today.
As a result, the price of a 12.5 kg cylinder of LP gas has dropped below Rs. 3,000 for the first time since, Muditha Peiris, chairman of the Litro Gas Company, told a media briefing this morning.
Accordingly, the revised prices are: 12.5 kg cylinder – Rs. 2,982 (reduced by Rs. 204), 5 kg cylinder – Rs. 1,198 (reduced by Rs. 83) and 2.3 kg cylinder – Rs. 561 (reduced by Rs. 37)
