Litro Gas Lanka Ltd has decided to ensure that the 12.5 Kg cylinders will be made available to the public without any shortage.
The decision was taken at a meeting on Tuesday chaired by the State Minister of Co-operative Services, Marketing Development and Consumer Protection, Litro Gas said in a media release.
“We assure our customers that our regular 12.5 Kg cylinder is available in the market without any shortage, at the same price. In the event of any unavailability through an agent, customers can place an order for any Litro Gas Lanka cylinders that meet their LPG requirements by dialing 1311 or via the Litro Gas Home Delivery App,” it said.
In keeping with the Minister’s guidelines to provide consumer information and clarity with regard to the new Premium Hybrid 18 Litre cylinder introduced by Litro Gas Lanka to the market, Litro Gas Lanka hopes to implement such activities within a week, while keeping it at the introductory price.
These decisions follow some confusion over the company’s new 18 litre cylinder.
