Lohan Ratwatte was sworn in as the new State Minister of Container Warehouse Facilities, Container Yards, Port Supply Facilities and Boats and Shipping Industry Development before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (10).
Secretary to the President Gamini Senarath was also present on this occasion.
Last September, Mr Ratwatte who held the post of State Ministry of Prison Management and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation was forced to tender his resignation, acknowledging his responsibility for the incidents that took place at the Welikada and Anuradhapura Prison premises.
