MP Ali Sabri Raheem’s jeep involved in accident
The jeep of MP Ali Sabri Raheem was involved in an road accident today morning seriously injuring the driver of a hand-tractor in the Saliyawewa area, police said.
The MP and the driver of the jeep escaped unhurt.
The accident had occurred around 1.30 am. The jeep had rammed into the hand-tractor proceeding ahead. The driver of the jeep has been arrested.
In a similar accident the MP’s jeep had knocked down a pedestrian in the Norochcholai area killing the person.
