Man arrested for stealing tear gas canisters from cops

Police have arrested a 26-year-old for stealing five tear gas canisters during the protest near Parliament. 

Welikada police also seized five the stolen tear gas canisters at the suspect’s residence in Ethul Kotte. 

Police said the suspect will be produced before Hultsdorp Magistrate Courts today (27).
