A 37 year old man was killed and his wife injured in a drive-by shooting in Unawatuna area in Habaraduwa today, police said.
The duo were travelling in a three-wheeler when they were shot by an unidentified gunman in a motorbike.
Police said the deceased has been a suspect in a case involving a double murder that took place in 2013 and was currently on bail over a homicide case in 2021.
Habaraduwa police is conducting further investigation.
