A man producing fake documents including visa stickers used by the Italian embassy has been arrested by the Police.
The 44 year old man was nabbed by the Colombo Crime Division, near the Katunayake interchange to the Highway on August 12.
A false seal similar to the seal used by the Italian Embassy and forged documents with fraudulent stickers used in providing Italian Visa was discovered in the possession of the suspect.
The suspect was produced to the Negombo Magistrate Court on August 13, where he was remanded until August 25, while the Colombo Crime Division is conducting further investigations.
