March by Monks

A group of Monks consisting of Foreign and local Theras commenced the march March from Ruwanweli Mahasaya in Anuradhapura to the Sripada shrine today.

The monks would be marching through the Ginigathhena Sellipi village today.

The group of monks consist of Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and India, along with 06 Sri Lankan monks, will receive alms from the Ambagamuwa Sri Vijayabha Pirivena Viharaya and resume their journey and spend the night at the Diyagala Damsisila Buddhist Monastery. Thereafter, on Thursday February 12, the monks will march from the monetary to Wahansela Nallathanniya.
