Minister Hon. Chamal Rajapaksa was sworn in before the President as the State Minister of National Security and Disaster Management and the State Minister of Home Affairs, yesterday at the Presidential Secretariat.
The portfolio of the State Ministry of National Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management was separated into two state ministries - State Ministry of National Security and Disaster Management and the State Ministry of Home Affairs, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
Minister Rajapaksa was the State Minister of National Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management prior to the separation of the portfolio.
