A minor tremor was reported last night (June 5) around 10.49 p.m. at Gampola, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) says.
Director of the GSMB said that the tremor had a magnitude of 2.0 on the Richter scale with its epicenter in Pupuressa.
Seismic meters placed in Mahakanadarawa, Hakmana, Pallekele and Buddhangala have recorded the quake.
