Several mobile phones and their accessories have been recovered by the Special Task Force (STF) during a sudden search operation at the Boossa Prison.
The search was conducted following a tip-off received by the STF camp at the Boossa Prison. Accordingly, a search operation was conducted at the 'C' Block of the prison, which led to the recovery of the prohibited items.
The STF said that a search conducted after observing CCTV footage led to the discovery of three mobile phones, a handsfree set, a mobile phone charger, a charging circuit and a data cable.
The seized items have been handed over to prison authorities for further investigations.
