Underworld mobster and assassin wanted for several murders identified as Ravindu Rangana alias “Booru Muna” was arrested today.
The police said that they apprehended him after he surrendered at the Awissawella courts.
The mobster who had been evading police and even fled from police custody at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake on February 24 after he was barred from boarding a Dubai bound flight due to a court order issued by courts. He had attempted to fly abroad by using a passport.
