Four hundred thousand doses of Pfizer vaccines onboard a cargo plane of Emirates Airlines arrived in the island this morning (30).
The consignment of vaccines, weighing 5356 kg, was sent to the Health Ministry under the Covax facility of the WHO, said Prof Channa Jayasumana.
The unloaded vaccines were transported by Health Ministry freezer trucks to its central stores complex in Colombo.
